With advanced degrees in Environmental Design, Landscape Architecture, and Community Planning from Auburn University, Dale’s career has spanned innovation, academia, and hands-on farming. His work with the Bloomberg Innovation Team and as a visiting professor at Auburn University and the University of San Francisco in Quito, Ecuador, reflects a deep commitment to merging data-driven design with real-world impact.
As a former vertical farm owner and operator, Dale understands the challenges of modern agriculture firsthand—experience that informs Shipshape AgWorks’ cutting-edge solutions. Under his leadership, Shipshape secured backing from Techstars and Gener8tor, advancing from concept to market leader in modular, AI-powered farming systems. A holder of two issued patents, with two more pending, Dale continues to push the boundaries of controlled environment agriculture (CEA), renewable energy integration, and scalable farm design.
